Itinerary

Day 1 :

Chennai

The capital of Tamil Nadu, is the gate way to the south and it is  the fourth largest city. It represents the distinctive variations to north India in music, dance, art, food, customs, costumes Fort St.George is the most important historical landmark in Chennai. The Fort museum houses the portraits of the past governors,National art gallery, gallery of contemporary arts, Children museum, museum theatre and the Connemane public library are in Government Museums. Victoria memorial houses the art gallery is the fine building Mughal style. Marine Beach is the attractions in Chennai. The tourist enjoys the calm, cool breeze. The samadis of Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Tiru.C.N.Aannadurai and M.G.Ramachandran are one among the attractions.Valluvar Kottam, memorial to the greatest tamil poet, is the lake in the heart of the city. 

 

 

 

 

Day 2 :

 Auroville

 Auroville (also called as The City of Dawn) is located around 6 km from Puducherry and accommodates people across 35 nations to live as a community in making a universal city. On the 28th of February, 1968, the International township of Auroville was founded. While introducing the project, The Mother, President of the Society, declared: "Auroville wants to be a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities. The purpose of Auroville is to realise human unity". 

 

Day 3 :

Tourisme in Chidambaram 

Chidambaram is one among the ancient, celebrated shrines.Historical  and cultural siginificance are felt. The very word Chidambaram means Nataraja Temple. Chidambaram represents the rich cultural heritage of India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Siva, in the form of “cosmic dancer.” This temple of Cholas is meant for the art of Bharathanatiam. The features of this temple are Sivakammiamam temple, the sivaganga tank, and thousand pillars. It is the major pilgrimage of temple. The temple campus houses mandapams, several shrines, etc. It is considered has one among the holy temples in India.Gangai kondacholapuram    ; Gangai kondacholapuram is been recognized by UNESCO .It has been erected by the Cholas. The temple stands next to the temples of Tanjore but with its own individuality. The main temple consists of a Santum tower-Sri koil, a rectangular mandpa called Muthamandapam. The interesting part of largest shivalingam-Santum Santorium always remains temperature- controlled

 

Day 4 :

Temples in Kumbakonam

known as “Temple Town” because the town is with numerous temples in and around the town. Kumbakonam is located in the Thanjavur District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, about 313 km away from Chennai on the south, about 90kms from Tiruchi on the east and about 40kms from Thanjavur on the north east. The grand festival of Mahamaham is celebrated every 12 years in kumbakonam. Panchaloha idols, bronze sculptors, exquisite brass wares especially lamps, silk and betel leaves are very famous in kumbakonam. In Kumbakonam town and within a radius of 20kms, 37 of Lord Siva Temples of Chola Nadu and 10 of the Lord Vishnu Divyadesas are found situated. 

 

Day 5 :

Tourisme in Tanjore

Tanjore, once the land of Cholas and was later the seats of nayaks and Marathas holds magnificent temples, historical palaces and museums. The architectural skills found are splendid. The prime attractions are the temples of carved stonework. The Dravidian temples are the centres of prime attraction.Temples Sri Bragadeswar, Mariamman, Airavatheeswar form a perfect mix of mythology and devotion.temples here are recognized by the UNESCO. The near by Kumbakonam (36 kms) is famous for Sarangapani, Kumbeswara, Nageswara,  ramaswamy,etc.The Mahamagam is clebrated once in 12 yrs. 

 

Day 6 :

Madurai Meenakshi Temple

                   

 

                   

 

  

Madurai was ruled by Nayak Emperors, is the oldest cities of India. It held the Sangam period of the Pre-christian era. The tamil literature of these age produced master pieces. Madurai is said to be the king in producing Tamil language and literature. Nakkirer is the hero Sangam Era.The city of Madurai is dominated by Meenakhshi Sundareswara temple. The structure of cosmos is symbolized with concentric rectangular streets found in the temple. It is said people from Rome and Greece made trades with pandya king when they visited Madurai.Later, Madurai became a province of the Delhi Empire, under the Tughlaks. Maduri is the living monuments of Tamil arts and literature. It is also known for its temple.The splendid making of the temples by Nayaks is remarkable. They left a major imprint in Meenakshi Sundaresweer temple. IT houses 12 gigantic gopurams. The temple consists of 110 pillars carrying the figures of peculiar animals with a lion body and an elephant head called “yalli”.

 

Day 7 :

Ooty

Ooty is known as “Queen of hill stations”. It counts for its unrivalled beauty and everlasting. . The most prominent state in the southern religion is the Mudhumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. Upper Bhavani is the paradising rich in wildlife habit. The Pykara dam, Pykara falls and Pykara reservoir attracts the tourist. Avalanche is one among the Paradise for nature lovers. It is a beautiful lake with thick shoal, even sunlight cant penetrate. Kotagiri is shielded by the Doddabetta ranges. The climate is very salubrious. Gudalur is the gateway of Nilgiris, is a green carpet. 
KodaikanalKodaikanal, in the Palani hills of Tamilnadu, is a bio-diversity rich in flora and fauna. The shoal forest of kodaikanal has a vast range of trees, wide range of insects, birds and wildlife. Besides being a best spot for trucking and photography, it has a large area of agricultural lands. The unique rare kurunji flowers (that last bloomed in 2004)are found here around December once in 12 years. 

 

Day 8 :

KERALA TOURS 

Kerala, one among the seven states, remains unscathed by modernization. 
Kerala is a green strip of land, in the South West corner of Indian peninsula. It has only 1.1 8 per cent of the total area of the country but houses 3.43% of the the country's population In 1956, when the states were reorganized, Kerala was formed after tying the princely states of Travancore and Cochin with Malabar, a province under Madras state

 

Day 9 :

Andhra Pradash tours

Andhra is the land of art and architecture. The state is fledged with historical events. Andhra is the “Granary of South”. Fine arts and traditional arts are treasured from a very long past. “Banjara Embroidery” is another important craft. Folk paintings and Nirmal paintings finds a predominant place in the series of crafts. 

Day 10 :

KARNATAKA TOURS

Karnataka, the land of splendors, has marked historical events. It stands first in the productions of raw silk. It also fosters many industries. Bangalore is known as garden city and it is one of the clean cities in India. India’s booming computer software is based in Bangalore.

It is sad that almost the dramatic growth of the city destroyed its architectural heritage. Only the high court and the Bangalore club have survived till now. The Colonial-styled bungalows have give way to high-rise commercial buildings. Bangalore is for its Pub culture.

 

Day11 :

 GOA TOURS

With its 131-km-long coastline, Goa is an important locale in every tourist's itinerary. Sun, sand and sea being the major attractions, Goa is a perfect heaven for the ones who need and want relaxation.

 

Day 12 :

Departure

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is synonymous with eco tourism and perfect place for wick your hustle and bustle life style. The island is splendid with the sheltered waters of Bay of Bengal. All kinds of worships are practiced here. They often conduct folk rituals and follow taboo customs. Some remarkable temples are Malaka Murugan temple, Sri Vetri Malai Murugan, Rajastan Temple, and Sri Shridi Sai Baba Temple.
