DAY 1 :  COCHIN

DAY 2 :  COCHIN TO HOTELS
Kerala, popularly known and believed as God's Own Country, is an ideal destination for business traveler as well as holidaymaker. One of the most sought after tourist destinations in Asia , Kerala is India's only tropical paradise. The state is blessed with myriad features like dense tropical forests, beautiful beaches, cliffs, rocky coasts, an intricate maze of backwaters, still bays and astounding 44 radiant rivers. One such mesmerizing place in Kerala is Kochi , the most Cosmopolitan City of the state.

Some of the famous tourist attractions in the city are –

DAY 3 & 4 :  COCHIN - ALLEPPEY -KUMARAKOM LAKE RESORT
HouseBoat: A houseboat is about 67 feet in length and has a width of around 13 feet in the middle. The materials that go into the making are local and ecofriendly; bamboo poles, coconut fibre, ropes, bamboo mats, carpets etc. The main wood used is "Anjili". There are houseboats with fully furnished single room, double room and triple rooms. All of them have sundeck, private balcony with comfortable chairs, kitchen and toilet with w.c. In addition there is a separate rest room for the crew. Traditional lanterns are used as lights. The crew includes a chef, and two oarsmen. The cuisine is of traditional Kerala flavour.

Alongwith the local specialties; delicious fish and prawns. There are single bedroom houseboats for two people and two bedroom houseboats for four people.

ALLEPPY TO ALLEPPY: This package is a voyage in the narrow canals between the wide range of green rice paddies and the peaceful villages enwrapped with coconut trees. DAY 5 & 6: KUMARAKOM -THEKKADY-SPICES VILLAGE

Formed with the building of a dam in 1895, this reservoir meanders around the contours of the wooded hills, providing a perennial source of water for the local wildlife. Thekkady: Periyar Tiger Reserve, one of the famous Wildlife Sanctuaries in India, spread across 777 Sq. Kms out of which 360 Sq. Kms is thick forest, is one of the best places for viewing wild elephants. There is a 26 Sq. Km. artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river. A boat cruise on the lake is a great way to watch the wildlife. Wild animals like the Elephant, Gaur, Sambar Deer and wild boar, which can be easily seen from close quarters during the serene boat ride. Other Mammals like the Nilgiri Thar, the lion tailed macaque, the bonnet macaque, the Malabar giant Squirrel, the flying Squirrel, the Tiger, the jungle cat and the sloth bear are seen only once in a while. Around 265 different species of birds like the Hornbill, stork, woodpecker, kingfisher, raptor, cormorant, grackle, darter etc. can also be seen.

DAY 7 :  COIAMBATORE - METUPPALAYAM
The Textile Capital Of South India" Or " The Manchester Of The South" Coimbatore is one of the most industrialised cities in the state. Popularly known asCoimbatore Textile Industries "The Textile Capital of South India" or "The Manchester of the South", the city is situated on the banks of the river Noyyal. Located in the shadow of the Western Ghats, Coimbatore enjoys a very pleasant climate the year round, aided by the fresh breeze that flows in through the 25-km long Palakkad gap.

The Textile Industry Of Coimbatore: The rich black soil of the region has contributed to Coimbatore's flourishing agriculture industry and, it is in fact that the successful growth of cotton that served as a foundation for the establishment of its famous textile industry. The first textile mills came up as far back as 1888 but there are now over a hundred mills. The result has been a strong economy and a reputation as one of the greatest industrial cities in South India.

DAY 8 METTUPPALAYAM:  MUDUMALAI
OOTY: Ooty the queen of hills stations in India has many beautiful spots to offer to its tourists. You need at least one full day to visit these places comfortable. There are some places like Rose garden and botanical garden one must spend more time.

VISITED PLACE OF COIAMBATORE: Government Botanical Garden, Centenary Rose Garden, Boat House, Children Park, Government Museum, Doddabetta Peak, Madumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Kotagiri, Kalhatty Waterfalls, Sim's park, Lamb's Rock.

Leave in the early morning for an excursion to the luxurious forest of Mudumalai escorted by a forest guardian. Discover the wildlife fauna and flora of the area.! Then have a look a the training & resting center for elephants used for material transportation.

DAY 9 :  MUDUMALAI - MYSORE
Visit the astonishing and extravagant Maharaja's palace, its multitude mirrors, acajou wood ceils, massive silver doors and sculpted columns which make it a unique piece of architecture.

Then walk around at the colourful vegetable and fruit's Maharaja's market, a real delight for the senses. Night stay at the hotel.

DAY 10 & 11 : MYSORE TO HASSAN - HALIBED
DAY 10 HASSAN: As per the history the name Hassan was derived from Simhasanapura, later it became Hassan. There is a temple in the heart of the city of Goddess Hasanamba, the temple will be opened for public once in a year. Hassan is popularly called as "poor man's Ooty". Hassan is a picturesque town in the heart of Malnad with a pleasant climate. Hassan is adequately organized in terms of hotels, shops and transport. It is also well connected by road and rail to Bangalore, Mangalore and Mysore.

HALIBED: Halebid is about 15 kms away from Belur. This place was known as Dwara Samudra, the wealthy capital of the Hoysalas. Halebid has several strikingly beautiful Hoysala Temples and Jain shrines. The Hoysaleshwara temple, standing on platform like a casket, is a sculptural extravaganza, richly endowed with most finely detailed scrollwork in stone.

DAY 11 BELUR: 222 kms from Bangalore, 39 kms from Hassan and 149 kms from Mysore is Belur famous for its exquisite temples. Belur is known as the Dakshina Varanasi or Southern Banaras.

DAY 12 & 13 :  HALIBED TO BANGALORE

Spread over an area of 2190 square kilometers, Bangalore enjoys a pleasant and equable climate throughout the year. Tree-lined streets and abundant greenery made it the 'Garden City' of India.

DAY 14 :   BANGALORE TO CHENNAI
CHENNAI: There are several tourist attractions worth visiting in and around Chennai. Stretched over an area of 13 km, Marina Beach is the second longest beach in the world. The St. George Fort, built in 1653, is currently used as the state government's secretariat. Santhome Cathedral was built around 14th/15th century and is another colonial structure worth visiting. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Kapaleeshwar Temple is the oldest temple in Chennai. Another important temple in the city dedicated to Lord Krishna is Parthsarthy Temple. The National Art Gallery, initially known as Victoria Memorial Hall, houses a good collection of old paintings and sculptures. The Snake Park has a large collection of snakes and many other reptiles.

The temples here reflect the maturity and efflorescence of Pallava art and the ornate and often imposing embellishments were produced later by the Chola, Vijayanagara and Chalukyan kings. There is a solemn grandeur, a grandiosity of vision and ornamental excess in the temples here.

DAY 17 : MAHABALIPURAM
Mahabalipuram is a seaside village with a rich heritage. A flourishing port town in Tamil Nadu during the reign of the Pallava rulers, it is famous for its rock - cut art. Mahabalipuram is a part of the Golden Triangle circuit of South India along with Chennai and Kanchipuram.
